SO-lektion 12/2-14

Min grupp ska arbeta om Romerska-Katolska kyrkan. Vi delade upp så att alla fyra skulle inrikta sig på en egen sak och sedan skriva fakta om det. Vi ska sedan sammanfatta allting och göra ett gemensamt bildspel. Jag ska skriva om kloster.

En ska jag lärde mig denna lektionen var att människorna i ett kloster både äter, sover, ber och lever där. Jag trodde det bara var en lokal som man kunde gå till och be, precis som en kyrka.

Jag lärde mig också att kloster inte bara finns i den katolska tron utan i många andra religioner också.

Holly's Heroes part 10 

The away game

The Outlaws are going to play their first away-game and they are going to play against The Wombats.

It was a very long way to them and they went with the car for a couple of hours. They stayed in the town one night and when they arrived in the evening they started to play Truth or Dare.

Truth or Dare is the same game as the swedish Sanning eller Konka.

Holly didn't want to say the truth when Jacinta asked if she had feelings for Joel so Jacinta decided that she had to drink a glass of mashed, disgusting things.

Franco is in love with Jacinta but don't dare to tell her that. When Franco said "Truth" Holly asked him if he likes a girl very much. He didn't answer that and then Holly decided that he should kiss Jacinta, then Franco get very sad and ran away. They found him but he wasn't sad or angry anymore.

Before the match Max told everyone where they would play and he mixed everyone's positions. Everyone in the team got very upset and didn't know how they could play on the new positions. They were also nervous because Nick didn't play with them anymore.

On the match they didn't play so well when no one had their normal position, but they didn't give up. In the end The Wombats won with 46-30.

After the match Max said to the players, it's not the most important to win.

He mixed the positions because the players would see with own eyes that it's not the most important. The players understood it and was happy because he did it.

Comment:

This part of the Holly's Heroes has the best message.

Its not the most important to win, it's important to have fun.

It was good that Max mixed the positions, because then the players could see that if they just pushed each other and had fun, that's more important than to win the game.

In one way it was not so good when he mixed the positions because then they didn't play so well because they got confused. It was also bad because they lost the game and was place lower in the league. 

In my team we often loose our games but we try to push and help each other and because of that we have really fun together anyway.   

Holly's Heroes part 9

Holly's Heroes part 9 Crossing the line

The Rams had a "marathon movie night" to get money to their team. They showed six movies in seven hours. Trish was the coach for the movie night and said what everyone had to do. Only Holly and Jacinta from The Outlaws wanted to came to the movie night, because now one else wanted to support The Rams with money. Holly skulle goott with Nick to the Movie Marathon but he was very angry on everything and Holly didn't know why. Holly look at the movies with Jacinta and Nick. Nick was very nosey on Holly and Holly been a little thoughtful, but it seems like Nick only tried to be friendly to her.

Ralph and the rest of the team decided that they also wanted to get some money to the team.

Johnno worked on a carriage who called Lamburgers there they sell hamburgers. Johnno said that they could change the name to Ramburgers and then put the carriage outside of the "movie night" and sell hamburgers there. They got very much customers and sold out their hamburgers. When Trish and the other in The Rams find out that The Outlaws stole their customer they get very angry.

When the movie-marathon was finished Holly met Nick, he told her that he want to quit from The Outlaws. He said that he have to fix his own problems first and Holly been very sad about that.

Comment:

This part of Holly's Heroes was very good. In this part they proved that they could be friends even if they don't play in same team.

I think it was good and bad that Nick quit from the team. The good thing is that he had to fix his own problems first and that is important. Maybe he didn't feel well all time and had to do something about that, he maybe had it hard at home with his family.

The bad thing is that he was a very good player in The Outlaws and maybe they don't play so well anymore without him.

Holly's Heroes part 8

Hollys Heroes part 8 Jungle ball

Johnno and Ralph wanted to get money. They decided to start a tournament with the name Jungle Ball. Jungle Ball was a tournament who people played for a while ago, they played 2-on-2 matches with no rules. Johnno and Ralph decide to start it even if it's banned and they took 10 bucks for a team. Many teams .... and Johnno and Ralph got very much money. Holly and Nick was one team (Avengers), Emily and Franco one (Dominators) and Trish and Joel was another team (MVP). Jacinta was the referee.

Franco and Ralph tried to scare Franco and Emily before the tournament with an old story about one-armed Joe, but that did not affect them.

In the tournament Holly and Nick came to finale against Trish and Joel. They played very hard and Nick pushed Joel so he felt on the ground. They had to stop the final. They took Joel to the hospital and there they said that he had broken his arm and could not play basketball for two months.

Because no team had won Jungle Ball Johnno and Ralph didn't know what they would do with the prize money. They decide to give The Outlaws the money.

I think Jungle Ball was a really funny tournament. It seems like the player had very fun, but I think it would be better if they had rules. If they had rules they could play better and nicer basketball and Joel did't need to get hurt. But if they hade rules maybe Jungle Ball was not so funny anymore. 

I also think it was good of Johnno and Ralph to get the prize money to The Outlaws, then they could go and do something together. Then the team can get to know more about Max.
